$198 dollars for the set.....that would last me several life times in standard bulbs. I did have to replace the left rear light bulb when I got the car in 2006, I couldn't get the original so got the equivalent in 10 watt. Never noticed but at the last meeting I drove to some one said "hey, you got different bulbs in the tail lights. The 10 watter was bright the RH original one was a fraction as bright. I'll have to change it out soon. As an aside I changed my first light bulb in the '91 Integra (LH front signal). Total cost of bulbs for 22 years of driving it $0 (had one sitting around from somewhere).

If your goal is just to brighten up the lights, then just chrome paint the inside of the light housing. I did last year and the difference was remarkeable!

Hi, A word of warning!! in some countries it might be illegal from the view of the vehicle testing center to put a coloured bulb behind a coloured lense, it is in New Zealand.!!

Regards Scott.

Thankfully, we have no inspection at all in Florida!

I'm still waiting on my set of bulbs but they did email me their instructions. This brought up a point I don't recall reading here while researching LEDs. It's possible someone mentioned it and I just don't remember. Here's from the instructions:

More Important: Your new LEDs require much less current than light bulbs, therefore to maintain the effectiveness of a fuse you must change to lower amp fuses for circuits where light bulbs have been replaced by LEDs. For example, if your sidemarker lights fuse is currently 10 amps you can probably go to a 2 amp fuse for many applications. You want to use a fuse that burns up before your wiring or LED.

Is this what everyone has been doing?

Nope. Not I...
It's the same gauge wiring still, so why should I?

If you find your tail lights are dim (mine were) you could always change out the bulbs for standard ones but in 10 watt (they are available)rather than 5. Makes a world of difference.
