Pektron Wiring

Help Required Please
The wiring to my pektron unit is a mess
(1 broken,others disconnected(dont ask how)PO bodge up)
Could someone please show or describe which colour wire
goes where (4 wires 6 positions)
Also if these units and plugs are still available to buy
and where from.

On my US spec '79 TR7 here is how the Pektron wires go: Looking at the unit with the connector on the bottom and the grill facing you the six wires are Red/white, Black, Green/orange, Black/brown, Black/brown, Purple. The wiring diagram for the US cars pretty much shows the same thing, six wires and six connections from a relay they call "Buzzer timer unit. However, the UK cars '78 - '79 wiring diagram is completely different. That same unit is called "Headlamp flash control" and shows 4 wires on 4 connections: 1.Blue/white 3.Blue/green 5.Blue 6.Blue/purple

Tony, what colour wires have you got there? Blue/purple, blue, blue green & blue/white, as Nick mentions?

If so then according to the factory wiring diagram:
Blue/purple to terminal 1
Blue to terminal 2
Blue/green to terminal 4
Blue/white to terminal 6

On UK cars terminal 3 & 5 have no connection.
