Low-Fuel Delay Unit.

Don't you just hate it when you say, "I'll remember which wire goes where!" or "The wires are bent in the right position, they'll just hook right up!"?

Well, I'm old or something, cause I can't remember.

So, here goes. The low-fuel delay unit is positioned right on the instrument pod. I must have hooked my up wrong cause the low fuel light quit working after I put in the new led bulbs for the pod.

So remember the matching questions when you were in school? Let's see if anyone know what goes where. PS, I went all the way through the ROM but couldn't find it.

I don't even go there....I just take a picture. Takes longer going in but much quicker on the other side.[:)]

So, If you are like me and keep your tank at least 1/2 full all the time, you could substitute a regular relay for the time delay one.

Well, in really, I just want it to work when necessary.

According to Odd it's:

T = Green/Orange
L = Light-Green/Red
E = Black
B = Green

Basically, it's a bimetallic strip that bends when heated to make an electrical circuit with an adjustable contact.
