Further to Beans' glove analogy.................
My FHC is sort of like a shabby old glove that is a bit loose with a few holes and split seams. However it is gradually tightening up and a few of the holes and seams have now been mended. It still has a way to go before it is in top shape but, this fall I have really started to enjoy driving it rather than worrying if I will make it to my destination. I have high hopes for it!

If the glove doesn't fit you must acquit![:D]

BTW: I would kind of like a Marina GT to run to work in![:0]

That glove thing really works for me Beans. I think it's a factor of
a good car, rather than size. I feel the same way with the 7, but
surprisingly I felt the same thing in the Holden Monaro, I drove at
Bathurst. I have always liked cars that you got into, then sort of
mentally zipped up around you.

The Monaro was a big car, by any standard. I did some testing, &
development work on them, before they went into production.

When I first got into one, my first thought was, "how on earth are
we going to race this block of flats, around Bathurst". But their
development blokes had done a mighty job, before we started.

After about 10 laps of the GM test track, the thing had shrunk to
the size of Fiat 124, & another 10 laps it was down to the size of
my Morgan +4.

They were so kind, & forgiving, & sort of "all together", that you
felt as if you had slipped it on, rather than got into it, just
like the 7 does. Those great lumpy looking Monaros must be my
second favourite car of all time, after my 7.
