If I were you I'd get an electronic flasher relay for LED bulbs .
Why you ask?
[:D] Because then you're fit for the next step in improvement:
Changing out those old incandescent bulbs for modern multi-LED 'bulbs. And
that relay will work just as good (if of any decent quality construction!) with your old bulbs
while you save up the dosh for the LED bulbs. (or wait for the white bearded fellow to arrive)
www.VirtualVillage.co.uk sell great LED bulbs for our dear Wedges
- and personally I think they are much better compared to the ageing incandescent bulbs;
I used:
2 Amber 45-LED BA15S 1156 Flash Indicator Light Bulbs for the front and
2 Amber 57-LED BA15S 1156 Flash Indicator Light Bulbs for the rears...and then...ditched the amber inner lenses F & R...
(PS
I used 2 White 63-LED BA15S 1156 Car Bulbs for the reverse light positions and
4 Red 57-LED BA15D 1157 Car Bulbs for the rear position and brake light units. But do remember here:
I use the double filament bulb holders from Tex Automotive in the red positions!)
