Soft top window cleaner

Postby Pete » 21 Sep 2009 11:24

Can anyone recommend a cleaning product for the rear window of the soft top. Mine's gone very 'milky'.

I've read about a product called 'Hindsight' in the classic car press, but at over £30 a throw I thought I'ld ask if anyone has tried it before I spend the bucks.

Cheers

Meguiar's has a three step process of Clear Plastic Products;
Cleaner
Polish
Detailer.

Before you buy the expensive stuff, try Cif bathroom cleaner on a fine microfibre cloth. Worked a treat on mine [:D]

Whether you need an actual polish or not to clear it up, I always clean & shine my plastic windows with a product called "Plexus". The stuff is great! I use it on my wedges windows, window tint in my truck, motorcycle helmet sheild...etc.

Hi,

Try tooth paste, makes it look mint!

Seriously it does work and it leaves a fine smell.

Hey, this forum's really good, some interesting things to try before buying the off the shelf cosmetics. I'll let you know which I think works best.

Cheers
