Anything to make motoring cheaper ,count me in[:D].I don't care if my 7 is worth 50p or £5000 it's not about the money for me.For some classic car owners it is sadley[:(].This is why the £2000 trade in incentive is bad news for old classics.Mind you if you read the rules you must have owned the car for 12 months and the offer is only open for 12 months so no good snapping up a banger now.Hopefully all classics are in enthusiasts hands by now so will be safe but there is always one after the quick buck[:(!]

This is one of those petitions that needs to be forewarded to all marques whose cars are approaching an age where scrappage is worth more than their collector value. The governor ARNOLD has authorized scrappage for vehicles that don't pass emissions testing. I took my money for a 15 yr old Saturn, absolutely no sentimenal or collector value. I don't have a clue as to the collector groups in the UK. I hope you can get this addressed in one form or another.
