Hi JCLAY,
Wow that takes me back to my college days as an apprentice mechanic, we were taught all that then (and used it as a valuable source of info). Must show the apprentice at work that, he and a lot of other youngsters seem lost if they cant plug in a computor into a cars engine managment system to diag a fault.

Yes John, I too remember when I went to trade school in the early 70s. A lot could be diagnosed then with a vac gauge. With todays cars, you can't learn much without a diagnostic code reader.
