Secondly, in my experience they are no good. I have a set of early MX5 and they are too narrow for the TR7 floor space - they look naff! Cost me £150 to find this out! They are taking space in my loft. If someone wants to make the same mistake they can take them for £100 the pair [;)]

I have a pair of leather MGF, seats reddish brown in colour, some cracking on the drivers side, if anybody wants them for £45 then come and collect them.

I have a second generation smart (451). Do you just want measurements or a fit test?

Is there a seat issue with TR7s? Do they require unusually narrow seats?

My Elise requires very narrow seats.

Actually, the seats from my TR7 are gonna get replaced with real race seats (because I am making a stage rally car out of it), so if someone needs original black seats in good condition, let me know.

Ideally, a new seat would bolt to the TR7 slider and be the same height and width.

Thanks,
Mike.

The base cushion is 20" wide at the widest part and 16" at the narrowest. The seat mount is 16" wide as well.
