Just to add, welcome and i agree about the Rover 75, i used to have one. It was the 2.0 diesel version, a very nice drive. Very keen on the SD1's as well.

We currently 2 Rover 800's; a vitesse sport saloon and a vitese coupe, and i love them both!!

Yes - the Rover 75 V8/ MG ZT-260 is a dead cert for future classic status - just like the TR8 - thanks to its rarity and uniqueness. Also, tragically the same thing happened to the R75 V8 as happened to the TR8 - it died because the company did!

Hi David,
WELCOME TO THE BEST TR7 / 8 FORUM IN THE WORLD EVER !!
You are cert in the right place, some very knowledgeable people on here and very helpful [8D].
As for the '75' i done the 10 day factory course on those when launched and was very impressed ( contains a lot of BMW parts and engineering, now work on BMW's so not so sure if a good thing or not [;)] )They can also be picked up dirt cheap, quite fancy one of the Ford V8 powered ones [8D] or realisatly the BMW powered diesel version!
Look forward to your posts.
Cheers John

Hi David,

Welcome aboard. Agree about the R75,would rather have one of those than a Jaguar S-type anyday, feels a lot more homely in a R75.
imho.
