Hi John,

Thanks for the handbrake info. Theres always alot of interest in rear disc conversions and its always the handbrake which seems to be the problem.

Yes, pictures of when its done is a must!! Plus a full run down of the whole thing whole be extremely useful. I'm sure others would agree ?

I bought a pair of Rover 800 rear calipers a while ago and thats as far as I got! But I think the principle and layout will be very similar to what you've already done, the only difference would probably be the mounting bracket for my caliper.

Let us know how you get on.
Cheers, Dave

Hi Dave,
Had a good look around and took measurements this morning when i MOT her (it Passed [:D]) and will attempt to make something over the weekend.
Got the latest TR Action (TR Registers mag ) and a real good article on the works rally team, has a number of pictures i had'nt seen before of the rear brake set up, they to ran calipers that faced towards the front! You learn something every day.
Cheers John

Hi John,

I was wondering how you were getting on with the info on your rear brake set up ?

Also, I didn't know (as an MOT tester) you could MOT your own car!! Have you ever been tempted to let something go that might be border line on a pass or fail ??? [:D]

Cheers, Dave
