the sun was out ...what could i do.......

Postby gaz » 08 Oct 2008 13:27

well.........the sun was out......... i know i shouldn't be driving this thing at the moment ( what with my oil light coming on when the engine has warmed up a knocking noise coming from the bottom end using 5ltrs of oil in about 300 miles but it still goes well enough it also sounds nice now i have put my tubular manifold/and ss sports exhaust and a set of pipercross filters on )but the sun was asking me to do it so what could i do.............

a couple of shots in the sunshine it might its last chance this year as its going to have the bottom end re-built and that recon cylinder head i had put in earlier this year balanced up together with the re-built bottom end.

whilst its having all this done the cars going to the guy who painted it last year to have the engine bay tarted up all nice and shiny......... ready for its engine back
when will i be able to enjoy this car properly i ask ya lol....
i did enjoy my little jaunt this afternoon though he he......
just to add i only drove about 5 miles altogether so hadn't even had chance to warm up but even so i know i shouldn't be driving as is and there isn't even that much smoke at all....and there is defo no leaks but its got to be burning it somwhere...

oh and the turret on the last pic is the reason why the engine bay is now going to recieve a bit of attention........

Looking good - although that turret does seem a bit 'crunchy' !
