CONVERTIBLE INTERIOR TRIM QUESTION

Just wondered if you could help me with my question, a friend of mine had a Soft top Tr7 previous, he gave me a few of the interior trim pieces the other day, one piece i couldnt account for in mine and it was the piece as below




Any help as always guys i greatly appreciated

I restored a '73 MGB for the wife a few years ago, and remembered that piece from the contortions I had to endure to fasten it!
