Chop Top

Postby busheytrader » 20 Jul 2008 06:53

The line of the rear wings didn't look right to me at first. Then the lack of windsreen header rail, strange quarter light frames and lack of stuffing under the the tonneau cover gave it away. It's a chop-top. I wonder how stiff the chassis is?

Hi,

Yea I looked at that, only because of the 'alien' engine, I've never seen a pinto engine in a '7 before!

But, I didn't even notice the extreme bodywork mods, so I had another look and your right, very badly done too!!

Dave

Interesting engine swap - any other engine changes that have been done? Oobviously the V8 is well known ! I was thinking of a smaller capacity engine - to save a small fortune in 'Road Tax' in the UK and maybe on fuel too!
