History of my FHC

Postby emwmarine » 01 Jul 2008 10:58

I am half way through the bringing back to life of my Carnelian red 1982 FHC. Reg number TPD 223X.

Bodywise I have been very very lucky. The floorpan is very good and the only grot has been in the wheelarches.

Soon to start the mechanicals with lots of bits from S&S.

Just wondering if anyone has come across the car before?

Hi,
You can get a Heritage Certificate that will tell you when your car was built and who sold it plus options ect, not that cheap but does add to the history of your car.

Cheers john

A few years ago I did a check through DVLA which for £5 gave me copies of all the changes of keeper and the original registration and copies of the first application for road fund license.
Having got hold of the detaild I then wrote to the previous owners.

Worth a go.

Cheers
Ian
