Pics: competition wedges in Australia

Postby omichaelshar » 30 Jun 2008 08:18

The local Triumph Sports Owners Association (TSOA NSW) newsletter alerted me to a an online database of "<i>old racing photographs</i>", http://www.autopics.com.au.

I went to one of the TR7 Pro events and blame this activity for my wedge addiction.

Enjoy:

<b>These do sure look nice, the first one is the best I think.

Nice to see so many about in Aus as i will be coming over next year and I will be bringing my girl with me. Lol hope to have all the work done on here before though.

Owen, what is the wedge scene like in Aus, parts and popularity?

Cheers, Phil</b>

We have a few TR7s racing in NZ. Mostly amateur & (like me) sub-amateur. This years Triumphs at Taupo had 5 TR7s - only 1 was a 2 Litre. I only mention it because mine was the fastest :) Shameless self promotion - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EiohlFcaF5o .

Also at Taupo at the Easter meeting was this proper 400BHP racing TR7.

Which is for sale:

$NZ30,000 is a mere $US23,000 or GBP11,500.
