TR7/8 parts

Postby stricky » 22 Nov 2007 09:38

Hi Chaps -

trying to buy some parts from a well known supplier, however they tell me there advertised web site prices have changed ( revised upwards )....and they only update thier website every year !

But in fact I remember this happened last time I bought a substantial amount of stuff from them a couple of years ago.......... i swallowed the excuse back then !

anyone else come accross this practise?

I just ran across this buying a new gun for my Mig welder online. I think it's poor bussiness practice at the least. Seems to me that the internet would be the place to have everything up to date. It's not like you are ordering from a catalog that's been laying around for a year.

If the parts are available somewhere else I would be inclined to order from there and let the first vendor know that they have lost a sale because of their poor practices.
