In my quest to aquire original brochures on the 7 i recently came across and Ausie one showing side wind deflectors and an exterior sun visor.

Did any of you guys ever see these options on a car.......!!!

Most cars of all makes sold on the Oz market had these options at the time, they were probably locally.
I have never seen any and I know why, they would have looked absolutely hideous on a TR7[xx(]

i agree they would of looked hideous but as with those rear louvres very much an eighties add on.

well the external sun visor etc would ofcourse been an early sixties thing i remember seeing those on mk1 consuls and heralds etc. well thats what my OLDER brother tells me [:D]

We're ten years ahead of you here. My car of choice in 69/70 was a Mustang fastback with rear window louvres. Back in the early sixties my brother had a 1949 chevy torpdeoback with exterior sunshade.

F1...I was thinking the exact same thing! Also, when I bought an 86 Mustang some years ago,it had those on it. Because the rear window was rather sloped,it actually came in handy as far as keeping the interior cooler and blocking some of the sun. They would be... different on a TR7 though![;)]
