Well I made it!

We were a little thin on the ground on the saturday but sometimes that can be more fun.

Pauls road run of about thirty miles was lovely, at this time of year when the harvest is coming in there is so much to see. I think that I can say that all of us had a really good trip. We managed to stay together and when we arrived at the pub there was even cricket on the green opposite, how very British! Paul had included two bridges so we were able to rev up and bathe in the sound of proper cars.

So heres my vote of thanks to all who put so much into another brilliant outing. cheers folks.

Great to see you there Ian.We had a good day weatherwise,and the drive
was very enjoyable - listening to all those v8's rumble through the
Essex countryside.The Chequers is an excellent place to stop and re-fuel.
Going back to skreens today for a few hours,but heres a shot from yesterday -

As I started the topic I fully intended to be at the Adventure weekend, unfortunately a death in the family the week before meant I had a sudden loss of interest in most things. Thanks for the super pictures, I apologise for not being there to support the event but Il be there next year.
