Just got back from an enjoyable day.More cars than last year with a
big turn out from the TR register.As you can see from the pic.i
ruined the front row for them and they nick named me ASBO!

Good to see John and his Grinnall there as well as the TR7 crew from
last year.

I'm sure the TR Register were joshing you with good humour Paul but I have to say this attitude towards the TR7 has adversely affected the club since I first tried to join 23 years ago. I was refused for owning a TR7 but thankfully then found another club that permitted me to join. It's a terrible shame but I suppose if the problem they created didn't exist we wouldn't have the TRDC so all works out for the best in the end.

I quite like being the Register's 'fly in the soup'!I told 'em that
it was nice to see so many 'old bangers'make the journey!



It was great to see GT6's and a Herald and 2000's etc.break up the
ranks of TR2/4/5/6's.

your cars looking good, we seemed to lose a few, not sure if the group from Chichester arrived at any time?

Maybe the price of petrol gave a few seconds thoughts. as for me i took a detour through the outskirts of London (just to get that London feel about the whole day you know an army of traffic wardens patrolling the streets. tip to toe traffic, irrate motoristss in their BMW's, with Horns even but sadly no indicators or sence of humour[:D], Cars coming at you from each and every side.

I Did get the odd cabbie shouting "nice car mate" and "havn't seen a TR7 for ages bloody smart" so maybe my detour had it's bright moments [:)]

Anyway when i did finally arrive it was good to see a variety of cars there, and i can finally say i've been to the ACE Cafe, i bet it's great fun at night.

good atmospher and very pleasant company. and to top it all the weather stayed with us.
