Good idea John, arrange a time nearer the event. We usually have a 3 car stand so should be plenty of room.

As some of you are aware, due to distance and work commitments I have a real problem getting to events, havn't been to any since Stoneleigh feb '07.
In fact if it wasn't for John Clancy's "Project Bullet" WAC275S would hardly have seen the light of day this year. (moving house, business expansion etc.)
MYE778P is still lurking untouched in the barn, not such a bad thing, as it's safely preserved unspoilt. Anyway, not wishing to be a Stoneleigh show hog, I will be coming (weather permitting) and I can bring MYE778P with me if required.

It would be great if you could bring MYE along Steve. Theres only room for 3 cars on the stand but yours can be one of them.

I am looking to come up to Stoneleigh in a convoy of possibly 3 TR's. Assuming I can sort this Weber linkage out on EOR!!
Hope to see you all there.

So you've got MYE back home Steve?!? Well done. I think it's one of the best TR7's I've ever come across so it should cause quite a stir if you put it on the club stand. A fabulous car... and I want it!!!

Note for Paul Westerman... it is a fixed head and no sun roof!

Thanks Chris, I'll do my best, just needs a little fabrication. Unfortunately the old ticker is giving me a lot of grief which in turn is keeping me out the garage, but I'm still very determined!!

Kind regards

Gary

If anyone can remember the crazed paintwork on my TR8 DWR 568W, at Stoneleigh you will see its superb new coat of paint. The new owner(he was also the first owner) wanted it painting so we came out of retirement to do one last job, have a look and let me know what you think.

I too will be at Stoneleigh this year and it will be my first time. An agreed time and place to meet is a good idea. After two years on the forum it would be good to share a pasty and a pint with all of you I have been chatting with.

If it doesn't fit you obviously need a bigger hammer.

I hope to be going again. We'll probably drive up the day before and stay over in a local Travelodge if anyone else is up for it.

We'll be coming from the South-West of course!

John

Thanks for the invite mate, but I'd rather share a room with someone of the opposite sex.
