Hi,

Went yesterday, good to see some familiar faces and meet new one's. Well done to Paul, Andrew and Jon ( plus their good ladies ) for a great stand, oh and the TR Register for there free tea / coffee and biscuits

Some great car's being worked on and displayed, I think in a lot of ways prefer this to November show, no flash Ferrari's, Lambo's taking up room that could be displaying ' real ' classics !

Will post a picture or two up later if anyone intrested ?

Cheers John

What? You mean we've got to wait until later John?

It's always good to see everyone and nice to meet new faces, some of whom we've only communicated with via this forum, FaceAche and email, particularly Brain Crook on this occasion. I really should start taking pictures of us all together so I stand a chance of remembering faces!

Must also mention Steve Bishop from way the hell down there in deepest Cornwall who brought up the first completed 'new' green tartan seat. Well done Steve - it got a lot of attention with a few very pleased and even amazed to see this long available pattern available again. It's not been produced since 1978 when Gallow & Maddox switched to producing the later brown and blue check pattern amongst others.

damn would love to have seen the green tartan, grandson had other ideas due to work saturday and mother's day sunday i didnt arrive till just after 2.30 sunday so i really only had a quick run around 4.30 headed out to get trailer, it seemed quite quiet probably due to mothering sunday, but i do like the fact there's less bling around. look forward to pictures. also unlucky chris with restorer of the year, didnt see you whilst i was there, your car got my vote weeks back, The metro that won i guess is just more of a car of the people / common, and a good resto as well.

Hi Simon,

Will put some up over the weekend, probably no better than yours though as lighting in that place is dismal to say the least :x
