Sorry to hear that Dave, but you are now an official member of the TRDC/HA club with Calvin and me. I had mine in 2012, you'll soon be back on your feet, just take it easy and enjoy the pampering!
Maybe get a lift to Billing on the Sunday, a slow walk round the cars in the sunshine would be a good tonic. :)

Hi Clint,

You in the UK and coming to Billing ? excellent news :D

Stevie, you are nearly ready and I haven't even dug the tent out, taxed the DHC the list goes on and on..... oh well guess that's what Thursday evening is for. Remember the year we got there and it absolutely p1553d it down, both sat in our waiting for it to stop to put tents up, it didn't, we got out and with your pop up tent, literally two minutes up , me soaking wet battling a gale and rain fifteen minutes later........ # jealous

I guess no Ian and Babs again this year on a Friday night so will need a new venue for post burger drinks, and see what state Simon is in after a well earn't evening on the cider ..... " Who put that duck in my wigwam " :D

Cheers John

Sorry to hear, Dave.
With time on your hands you can always start thinking about an amusing anecdote for the Wedge Book - I don't think I've had one from you yet!

I am so not organised! Haven't booked camping yet, the TR7V8 DHC I was planning to bring isn't quite ready due to a last minute clutch problem, carb tune required, and alternator bracket breaking (but may just be sorted in time, but may need to swap to the red TR7 FHC instead) and should be bringing the caravan which I've never used since buying it last September. Going to be an adventure whatever happens :D

ive been having a nightmare over the last 2 weeks ive had no spare time, and only had evenings to work on car ive had water pump in and out and in and out and in and out, on one reassemble i displaced o ring on inlet so had to strip down as soon as id finished as when i filled system out if the monifold water did flow!. 1 broken jackshaft pulley major strip down 2 cancelled mots, tbh i was losing the will but finally fitted new pump last night from ss no leaking or seaping yet fingers crossed and a friends picking car up taking for mot today and check tracking as i fitted new steering column, it was running lovely last year because it been appart it could do with some time spent fettling the timing but it running.. i had a list of jobs i wanted to do ready for summer theyve all fell by the wayside infact the water pump had a very slight annoying dribble should never have messed, so tonight assuming it passes i need to sort out camping gear and attemt to clean car as best as possible currently covered in dust oily hand prints and sawdust in every crevise, required to mop up endless draining of system. so ive done road time yet this year fingers crossed should get there safely. im thinking of coming down on friday.
if you factor in the earth's rotation, we are all speeding
