I am a defender of the tr7 / 8!
But it is very difficult of collecting tr7.
Currently my record is 14 cars participating and among these there were voitrues Swiss and Belgian.

Marius little you put a picture.

Gaz, I wanted to register for the tr7 40ns, but the group touring production site was full.

Syol, come on over and join us on the Sunday at Gaydon. That is the main gathering of the weekend and the one to be at.

Marius, I had heard about the TR7 40 commemoration in South Africa and have been asking that photos and video are sent through to me for inclusion in the TR7 40 DVD before the end of the year. So if you have a way to get some reasonable video somehow it would be wonderful to include our friends in South Africa and show another 'World of Wedges'.

Thank you John, but for a day, it's a lot of driving.
We have no accommodation.
And I do not speak English.
Yet the festival 40 years of the TR7 in England, would be the top.

Great stuff, I doubt we could raise such & good looking group of 7s here in Queensland Oz.

We have ours here in Brisbane with a barbeque at the vintage car club rooms we use as our club house.

With not too many 7s, & very few 8s the invitation is to all Triumphs, as we will be celebrating the 40TH birthday of the TOSOA of Queensland at the same time.

There are half a dozen meeting points with groups traveling together to the clubhouse.

I always wonder if we do these group drives to show off the cars, or for mutual support. I remember my favorite joke about why TR7s are fitted with low mounted spot lights, & the answer, to light up the tow rope of course.

Happy birthday to the last of the TRs.
