Great stuff. I'm really enjoying your trip, particularly happy it is you, not me, disturbing the bison, he looks a bit big to me.

Those animals are like cattle, only wild. While getting close to them, I don't trust them. I was a few yards from one in my Integra when my sister snapped this from the back seat. I wanted to take a pictures but wouldn't leave the accelerator in case it started towards the car even if they are used to seeing them (cars). Picture was taken by Wasagaming, Manitoba (we can almost match you Australians for aboriginal place names).

Ken, your car is going to need a good washing when you get there. Still wish I could have gone. Keep the pictures coming.

Garry - Sometimes you have to make the effort!
I sold a TR7\V8 to fund a 10,000-mile drive to Mongolia in a six-year old Hyundai two years ago. This year the Rules changed, and one team took an Allegro Estate. I didn't think they had a snowball's chance, but all credit to them, they got it to the finish podium in under six weeks! It was fairly shot, though - suspension, engine mounts, fuel tank and other bits. The desert in Kazakhstan and Mongolia really took it's toll.
Be great for the Club if we [I] could get a TR7 there next year!
Keep the pictures coming - they are really great!

Do you REALLY want me to get hung, drawn and quartered?
And that's by 'Her-Indoors', not the terrorists we may encounter along the way!

Arrived in North Carolina after 9 days and about 3400 miles on the road. I've got to wash the car in the morning. The tire shop tells me the sidewall damage is superficial and nothing worry about. I'm hoping someone can help me identify the engine rattle tomorrow after we hear from Harris Mann.

Having a grand time. Harris Mann was delightful, as were the other guest speakers. Today I'm going to take a try at the hillclimb. I'll report on that later if I survive. With my Holley carb, I'm in the modified class along with Woody...

After missing him for several years when we were both in the Northwest, I finally got to meet Don K here in North Carolina. We also saw Monica today, and have met a bunch of Wedgeheads including John Clancy, Woody & Clint Cooper, Ken Slagle, Jim Tecate, and TWOA Membership Chair Gary Klein.
