Would be fun to go one of these years, but this year I'm in Tobago. I'll hoist another Carib for you all! They drive on the wrong side of the road here....

The ABFM is such a great event with the car show, swap meet, and vintage racing. Unfortunately, our cars are not vintage enough for racing here, but there are always plenty of 3s, 4s, & 6s to keep my interest.
It's always a good idea to get there early to get your car onto the field for the show. Sometimes the TR6s and Stags grab a little of our space if we're a little tardy
See you all on Saturday!

Last year or the year before they didn't have a TR7 banner set up on the field. I had a guy from the Triumph club scurrying to find it. Came back a few minutes with it. Oh, the injustice of it all.[B)][8D]

The weather forecast is taking a downturn for the weekend. Maybe the weather guys will be wrong about the rain. I'll be there but I won't be camping out or spending all weekend out there. My dad is visiting from Kentucky and I don't get to see him very often.

Been watching the weather forecast in Portland. The only blip of rain is forecast for Saturday. Hopefully with the weather before and after it will only be a few sprinkles in the PM (evening), not that we don't need the rain, just not this weekend. At least it won't be like 2009, raining most of the day, soggy grounds. Ron didn't get out of bed and to the show till 1:00 pm even though he was just on the other side of the highway.[:p][:D]

Almost drowned that year. Too wet to take pictures but ended up with this one of Ken and I (surprising how dry the ground looks).

Me too, and my feet were waterlogged most of the weekend. It was, and still is, the wettest Labor Day weekend on record. It was also my first year out there with the TR8, and who could forget my custom top that gave the car a TR250K kind of vibe. [:p]

Jim, that was my first ABFM with my 8 also. It's a wonder our cars didn't 't sink to their floorboards. Appears to be yours truly in the rain coat standing between your car and mine. Merv's car is beyond mine. For awhile it looked like we might be the only ones there. I do like the shape of your custom top. Maybe you could produce them in fiberglass...

I saw Ken and some other non - wedge people tonight and also Ron and Merv's cars, and a Tiger. I just couldn't find them. I posted this shot from Photobucket using my phone. It was a pain but it worked
