Hi,

Great weather, great car's, great company all in all a great day [8D] !!

Brookland early on before it filled up -

Image

What the race track is famous for, it is really difficult to stand up on and far steeper than other banked circuits I have stood on, the guys that raced on this were real drivers and real mad !!

Image

Looking down of the banking -

Image

Oh and there were TR7 and 8's there too [8D]

Funny that Gaz because I always think the best shows are up North.

A great selection of wedges there but for me that Triton green coupe is just absolutely stunning.

Roy - it is stunning. Low mileage, but being used now. It's great that will be on the Anniversary Run. Only comment: put the correct wheels back on!

Maxwell, check out John's photo, it's back on it's original wheels & will be staying on them. It actually rides much nicer on them with no wheel wobble. [:D]

Hi,

Roy, living where you do most shows are north I guess !

Andy, don't forget I drive a lot of BMW's each week at a guess there attitude of ' I drive a BMW and can park where I like ' has rubbed off a little !!

Have to agree Andy's car is a stunner, it would be for me a toss up between that and the pre-production TR8 FHC.

Anyway other Triumphs that caught my eye -

How about this for madness, a Spitfire with a small block Chevy in it [:0][:0] actually a tidy install [}:)]

This Stag had a very well sorted Rover V8 install running throttle bodies and coil pack and sounded WOW [8D] Went well up the hill climb -

I quite like that modified Spitfire with the orange wheels. What's the story with that John?

Andy RE:
Keepax alloys it was something I noticed also, When I put a set on mine I lost the (in my case very aggressive) wheel wobble.
Although when I look at pics with my old supa slots I kind of miss the look....
