NEC Practical Classics Restoration Show

Postby Paul_TR8 » 17 Mar 2014 09:04

The TR Drivers Club will have a stand at the new practical Classics Restoration Show on 12-13 April 2014. The "Wedge Wall" will be on display again, updated from Stoneleigh.

we have a 3 car line up next to Silverstone Auctions. Please come along and say hello.

The cars will hopefully be a car awaiting restoration (or barn find), one under going restoration that if you want to help out on some of the jobs can lend a hand and a car that is complete (that's a phrase that's not really used. We have a discount code if required.

Classic car club members can enjoy a discount on tickets to the inaugural Practical Classics Restoration Show, held at Birmingham’s NEC on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th of April.

This brand new show is organised by Clarion Events, the same team behind the UK’s biggest Classic Motor Show, in partnership with Practical Classics magazine. It focuses on everything you need to know about restoring your classic – be it in your own garage or engaging the services of a professional restorer.

Club members can get a discount on advanced ticket prices for both single adult tickets and family tickets. Save £4.50 on a pair of adult tickets by quoting code RS14EC or £12 on a family ticket that admits two adults and up to three children with code RS14CF when booking online.

I like the juxtaposition of the white rusty TR7 next to the red one, good before and after representation.

Hi,

Looks like a good turn out [8D]

Not going myself as busy here, plus grieves me paying the ridiculous sum's of money the robbing NEC charge for parking [:(!]. Its almost as cheap to get a train from here, into London and back out to Birmingham [:0] They should have outside FREE parking area for classics IMHO, rant over !!

Have a great day guys and MORE pictures please !

Cheers John

Just back from the NEC, not as many people today but still a good attendance. Had Chris turner and John wood helping out today so many thanks.lots if interest in the cars we had on display. Will be at the event next year if it is a regular diary date.
Again great to meet everyone and don't forget photos for the wedge wall if you haven't already sent one in. Going to have a sit down now and a nice cold pint of real ale.
Thanks Paul

Enjoyable day today. It was confirmed Paul at the stage that the event has been confirmed for next year. This is one for the diary for people who couldn't make it this year.
