Thanks Gaz - This thread needed a bump!

Also need to bump interest in the Wedge Wall, some notable cars still missing! Come September, you'll be sorry if you haven't submitted!

Both the TR reg and the TSSC have been sent full details, dates and where originally involved with the proposed plans of this event. I suggest if either club is not promoting this event you contact your club and ask them why... It probably going to be one of the biggest TR7 related events since BL stopped production of our cars!

The TSSC have covered the run in the courier over the past 2 months, with an initial article and then the poster again this month. I have also seen the TR register article in the last tr action, although no poster. So the other clubs have done what is required from them it's down to the members to make the choice. Some members are also members of other clubs like myself so the information is out there.

Another place gone, I am booked on.

You can find the event written up within the TR7 registrars section of the latest TR Action magazine from the TR Register. We didn't have space for any further announcements in that edition but the event will be promoted through the pages of the magazine in the next 2 editions due out before the event in September [:)]

Cheers,

Wayne

Jolly good show. There are only six places left on the run so better hurry to avoid disappointment.

All our clubs need to keep on about this because the TR7 really does need all the support it can get. With the big event in Dobson the weekend before, September is going to be a very important time for these wedge shaped sports cars. Opinions have been changing in recent years and we need to keep up that momentum.

Soon we'll try to give the breakdown of models on the run - Fixed Heads Vs Drop Heads, standard 2.0l Vs modified V8s... and real V8s!

Just five places left - let's see if we can fill them over the weekend!

All the places for the road run are now filled. I thought initially 20 cars would be good, 25 fantastic but thanks to John and Andrew 40 cars has been achieved by early June. Quite sensational and shows how so many want to use their cars.

The next goal is to fill Coventry town centre up. If your not on the run get your 7 or 8 to the motor museum for the gathering. It will be a fantastic day and it is totally free.

Just a quick note on all attending the meet up at Coventry motor museum, we are asked to have drip trays under the cars whilst parked outside, can I ask that at least you can put down a absorbent mat of some description or make sure you do not drive off leaving a puddle behind.

I am also after a couple of volunteers to arrive early and help Marshall.

We could probably squeeze a couple more, just in case we have no-shows on the day.
Be quick, though..
