In fairness to Wayne it had been a busy day or possibly the best part of a barrel of ' Olde Speckle Hen ' we had just demolished !!! a night that will go down in history at Billing [8D]

Cheers John

I'm getting quite excited by this event this year. Does anybody know how many Dolomites and SD1's are expected to attend?

John,
Talking to Simon a couple of weeks ago I asked the same question the Dolomite club don't know, although the SD1 Club reckon about 40 cars, so it certainly should be a national to remember.

Wow, that is a fantastic amount of Rovers. I hope they're not coming down to reclaim all the engines that have been pinched over the years[:D]
Come to think of it quite a few Dolomite Sprints have met an early demise by TR7 owners.

..Charity Bring & Buy Auto Jumble..

I have a request! Can you all please check your garages, outhouses, & sheds,
for any surplus TR related parts/parafinalia.
An Auto Jumble with a difference is coming to Billing, If you have any spares etc. you no longer require, you can donate them to charity by simply bringing them with you when you come to TRDC National where there will hopefully be a gazebo set up near the marquee.
They will placed on the all new Auto Jumble stall and sold to raise funds for Parkinson's UK.

With just two weeks to go till Billing it won't be long now,
If anyone has any requests then let me know I can't promise anything but you never know.......

There is a lot more than this I'll be bringing Andrew, but that rad cap came off my car about 4 years ago there wasn't anything wrong with it then I only changed it because I bought a stainless steel one so I assume its still fine

Tony Lee is scheduled to join us on the Sunday. For those that are now wondering who Tony is just think of the 1974 prototype picture at Bwlch y Groes with the fablon disguise (or watch most Triumph DVDs of course). Ideally we want to have Tony picked up and I think we have this arranged but if anything goes wrong or the ride falls through is there anyone else going past the Tile Hill/Canley area of Coventry (i.e. where the Triumph factory was) with a spare seat on the Sunday?

Tony spent some time with us on the club stand at Stoneleigh in 2009 and will be joining us again at the Coventry Transport Museum for the anniversary run in September. A very funny chap and great company. No wonder he rose to the rank of Chief Development Engineer. He's now the most senior surviving former member of Triumph staff.

I've just dropped you an email via the forum Paul. It looks to me like you'll be a better bet anyway, and I know you'll have a really good time with 'uncle' Tone! He can literally have you in hysterics.
