Any information about events here in the United States would be helpful. I'm new to this and sure would like to visit around.
Specifically, in the Great Lakes Region - I live in Michigan.

On that subject, any of you good folks live in Michigan?

Hey Dave - how's the restoration coming along? I haven't heard from you in a couple of months - I hope the TR is coming along nicely. Post some pics.

I haven't touched mine. I do plan on getting her on the road one way or another this summer. It's been 2 years now!

Jon,
I just realized that you posted almost a month ago.
Well, the body has been on the rotisserie for the winter in storage but I’ve made good progress with the engine.
Fired it up about a month ago and it ran strong. Lots of new parts on the motor, including new clutch kit, and all the electricals. Plenty of chrome and new paint. Have your headers on temporarily to control the exhaust fire.
Sounds great!
So, within the month I should have the TR7 back in the garage and hopefully have it ready for paint this summer. So many projects – so little time!
I have my son’s Fiat Spider in the garage right now. New radiator, water pump, hoses, etc. I really want to get that finished and sold so I can go back to the Triumph.
Thanks for writing…. I’ll post some pics, but my garage is a winter mess right now.

For those in the Pacific Northwest.
Van Dusen link is:
http://www.westerndriver.com/abfm/

Will be there again this year. (Won first place in TR7 category last year)

The All Triumph Drive In 2010 link: (sponsored by Oregon, Washington, BC Triumph clubs on a rotating basis)

http://www.bctriumphregistry.com/atdi2010/atdihome.htm

Will be there too. (Got second place in TR7/TR8 category in 2007). Are you going this year Jim?

Won't be to Portland this year (still drying out from deluge from last year, the only rain we got all summer.[:)]) Maybe next year, I still want to try camping out next to the race track.

Would love to go to Triumphfest in CA some year (not this year too busy) woud have to find someone to look after the cats or go it alone, if a club contingent went down I might go.

And last but not least our club show Brits On The Beach, July 18th
http://oecc.ca/cib/brits_on_the_beach.htm
Over 200 cars show up with a barbeque after for club members and guests. Are you coming over Rich? I could suggest a decent B&B rather than some crummy hotel or you could stay over night here at my place. Bring the wife and they could talk quilts and crafts.[:)]
