Just got back.. history was made.

John I must have been standing beside you, I have identical pix of Bert and the line up, SJW533S with the same shadows and others!
I have about 100 pix including all the TR's I could see in the car park.

Very good John. Was it a successful day in terms of an audience? Was there a good enough crowd to warrant Goodwood doing it all again next year?

i've sent an email to the organiser asking that question John.

there was a very good crowd there and i think there will be people kicking themselves they didn't go too..

There is some stuff on the TR Register Forum criticising the simplicity of the course etc. Although that may be true I think that it is a deeply ungrateful view point.

This event brought 5 ex-works cars together and allowed 4 of them to compete together which unless I'm mistaken is the first time this has happened in 30 years (1980 RAC).

I think that the organisers should be proud of that and I for one am very happy it happened and that I was there to see it (and it was even free!).

If there is a repeat perhaps they could make a nominal charge just to cover a tanoy system and commentator. It would have made a huge difference to know more about the cars, their drivers and their times/positions.

Regards Steve
