Re: TR7 Headlamp Flash CCT & LED headlights

Re: TR7 Headlamp Flash CCT & LED headlights

In case anyone is planning on fitting LED headlights to a 7 fitted with the PEKTRONIC flash relay there is a problem. The flash system does not correctly raise the headlamp pods but causes them to rapidly raise and lower. I have developed a simple & easy solution & will post the full detail...

Re: Wiring loom tape?

I have been tidying up my wiring after many years of bodges by various individuals and fitted a additional fuse board for the driving lights and the kenlow fan supply. AES in the UK supply expandable braided sleeving which I found works well - see attached photo:- https://drive.google.com/open?id=1...

Wiring loom tape?

Good day

What do folks recommend? The self amalgamation type or fabric?

Re: Lights left on buzzer

Cig socket is not ignition switched on my 7 (unlike modern cars!) Looking at the wiring diagram it is fed from the hazard flasher unit connection. that was only a suggestion as i could not recall if it was ign switched, i used the 'cig' socket on my Reliant SS1 ( not a modern car either) - but it w...

Re: Lights left on buzzer

Just hook a 12v buzzer between the positive feed for headlight switch ( sidelight position) and the positive feed for a ignition 'on' only fuse...that should work and cost a couple of quid...i cant recall if the 12v power socket is ign switched..

I hope they last, but having done the job once with the help of forum advice the prospect of having to do them again...
