Re: Jaguar XJS brakes on Rover SD1 strut upgrade problem

Hi Russ I also agree with Cobber and Beans, where abouts are you situated? Have got any decent engineering shops near you, I had to get my replacement rotors bored out and the shop that did it charged me £50 including the set up fee.Ironicaly I am a retired toolmaker and I had done the same mod many...

Re: Wiring loom tape?

Hi Alan
I have got the same on my V8 only difference mine is red to match the car, :D :D
It certainly keeps all the cables neat and tidy.

Re: What's the thinking on this?

To increase the chance of losing your mind, just keep the V8 and buy yourself an MX5 there are quite a few on the market at reasonable prices, I am pretty sure if you lose the V8 you will regret it. :D

Re: S&S are moving

Hi Steve
Nice to hear from you and hope all is well during these troubled times, are you still open for business?
I am confined to barracks for the next twelve weeks so the V8 will remain in the garage for a while, have to make do with just starting it up a couple of times a week.

S&S are moving

Hi Steve, just heard you are moving, where are you off to?
Have you got any prices for the stock you don't want to take with you, posting on the Forum as I am not on Facebook.

Re: Genuine Minilites or Panasports

I have a set of MG TF Hairpin alloys on my v8 and as Beans said they centre locate on the tapered nuts.
Look really good and have had no wheel wobble at all since I fitted them.

Hi Phil
Have you managed to find a filler cap yet? I have three caps and a lockable one with a key.
Let me know if any are of interest to you

Re: Wheel Stud splines

Hi Paul, I have put MG TF 16 inch Hairpin alloys, to get the off set and clear the princess four pot calipers I have put 10 mm spacers on the front with longer studs, I have not put the spacers on the rear wheels as I think I would need to flare out the wheel arch. I have a pair of 5mm spacers if yo...

Re: Wheel Stud splines

Hi Paul, my wheels clear my princess calipers on the front and at the moment I have not put the spacers and studs on the rear wheels as the TF wheels seem to clear everything okay, I will probably leave that job to the winter as well. I have put a set of Uniroyal Rainsport 3 tyres on the wheels. 30 ...
